I always heard you should keep the lid on as much as possible to keep the heat in, so I waited to fill it up even though every day I thought about filling it up anyway because I was so anxious. Anyway, long story short, they sent me the hot tub, forgot the cover, and took a long time (2 weeks) to get me my cover. Yeah 2 weeks IS REALLY LONG TIME!!!! Especially when you just spent good money and then have to wait, and especially after they said it would only be a few days. I filed a complaint with Barefoot and they sent me a free chemical kit of chemicals I don’t even use, but I guess it means SOMETHING! After that I felt better because they were really trying to fix the problem and make me happy. Maybe I’m just in a better mood now because I just used the tub for the first time finally.
I also want to say what a wonderful job the parts department does for me when I call in. A lot of the parts on my spa are hard to find, but they always do a good job of finding what I need when I have to repair something. I just got my new heating element in the mail. Once again, they made the whole process real easy by ordering the part for me and just shipping it right to my residence.
I was really happy with the service. This was the main reason I decided to right this barefoot spas review because I was worried the tub wouldn’t fit and they would damage something in my garden. I feel silly for worrying now. They made me feel relaxed about the whole thing from the beginning. They were also really nice, and even stayed to talk with me for a bit after they were done. Who ever is in charge of giving this crew work, you need to make sure you continue to do so, because they did a really fantastic job both with the delivery, and dealing with me because I was so nervous!
